Jesus has power to do anything
Luke 5: 17-26
When Jesus does something, no man can emulate it
Luke wrote the book to the Gentiles who were Greeks, trying to find out all information . They were looking for a person who is righteous, whole, complete. They had concluded that all mean had weaknesses.
Luke looked through the life of Jesus and found that he had no weakness, he had power to do anything. He wrote to the Gentiles to show them there was a complete man. He states to us that Jesus the son of man has power.
Mathew writes to Jews and introduces him as the King of Jews
Mark wrote to all people. It is the first book that was written and its considered Mathew and Luke got better part of information from Mark.
Mark writes and introduces Jesus as the servant of the Lord working and serving all through. He heals a man with leprosy. He then gets presented with a paralyzed man .The men carrying him were unable to find a way through as it was crowded. They lower him through the tiling. Jesus tells the man " YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN".
The Pharisees question the authority of Jesus, not knowing He is the son of God.
Knowing Jesus is not going to bible school or coming to church but by Revelation. Many people have PHDs, degree holders in religion but have not had revelation of Christ being God. It comes through revelation.
Jesus perceived them in his heart and asked, which is easy, to be forgiven sins or to say rise and go. He told them for you to prove i have power, he commanded the man to rise and go. The man obeyed and quickly rose and walked away rejoicing. They were all amazed.
Work to have revelation that Jesus is Lord and that He has power to forgive sins and heal you. He is the same Jesus who forgave and healed the man .
If you have anything in you, he is ready to heal you. He has the power to heal, he never changes. What he did that time, he can do it today. But you must have faith in him and the power he has. When your faith meets the power of Jesus, you will have an explosion in your life.
As the men loved their friend and led them to healing, same way love one another and care for each other's needs.
Sometimes we suffer because of the sins we have committed. Adam was told, if you eat the fruit from the forbidden tree, you will die. If you enter a covenant with the enemy, you suffer all through.
Learn to forgive and release people and forget easily.
God's forgiveness exceeds the forgiveness of man as He takes away all our ins through:
1. The law and justice has been satisfied by the death of Jesus Christ at Calvary. When we sin, we are condemned to death but for those who repent, they are forgiven as justice was done at Calvary.
2. The guilt you feel when you commit sin has been replaced by God's justice at Calvary and therefore you are under no condemnation no matter what you have done.
Note that if you blaspheme the Holy Spirit you will not be forgiven. When you don't believe in God and His power of resurrection, you will be doomed.
Also when you keep sinning repeatedly and asking for forgiveness and sin again , Jesus will get tired with you and you get into the state of Apostasy, The Grace period expires on you.
God bless you as you keep your faith in God
