Welcome to our Sunday service with pastor Owen Wafula . Our message today is called to be blessed which is a continuation from last weekend message Gen 12:1-3 God called Abraham and his life was changed. When God called Moses, he sent him to Egypt and by the time he came back he was a changed person. when God calls us, our lives can never be the same. He has called us because He has great plans for us. He told Abraham get out of your own and go to the country am sending you for I will bless you and make you a blessing to other people. The nations will know I have blessed you. Those who bless you will be blessed and those who curse you will be cursed. God has called you from your current situations to make you a different person, for you to do extra ordinary things. He recognizes you as His son. When God calls you, He calls you while you are alone, He wants to change you. God called Abraham when he was with Lot and that's why He dint reveal His plans to him. Who are you carrying along that God cannot fulfill His plans in your life? You must release them as Abraham did. Gen 13:14 And the Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted, lift you, eyes and look north, south, east and west...all the land you see I will give to you and your offspring.......God caused difference between Abram and Lot's servants until they separated. Abram gave Lot first opportunity to choose where he wants. A Christian should have such a heart. Though Abram was an elder but he gave Lot an opportunity to choose. Lot chose the most productive land that was Sodom and Gomorrah. There are things in this world that may look so good but leads to destruction. God told Abram after he parted with Lot, lift up your eyes. Jeremiah 29:11 God thinks well of us, good plans and a future we hope for. God told Abram all the land you see will be given to you and your offspring. God is ready to bless us, the business people.It is the season for you to be blessed, to expand in your businesses. What you are doing now, from there lift your eyes and see what is better than what you are doing

What you see is what God will give you. When God has blessed you, people will call you father or mother Abraham lived in a tent, he was not settler, he built tents. God had not given Him the land though He promised his descendants to reign in it. When God blesses you, do not be selfish. Abraham worshipped the Lord. Once blessed, remember to worship the Lord. 25th October 2015 service Bro Kevin Sitati Exodus 4:6 Every time we throw something on the ground we are planting something.God asked Moses what he was holding in his hands. Moses did not know that what he was holding in his hand was his miracle. We should not look at what we have in our hands and despise it not knowing it's our miracle. Everything God has given us is important. Everything we see in the physical has happened in the spiritual. The word of God is the bread of life and so did Jesus say he is the bread of life. Food in the natural to us, we eat atleast two or three times in a day. The same way we have to eat is the same way we have to read the word of God because it is the bread of life. We must eat it all times.. The word of God is medicine that we must take and finish the dose. Some people want instant healing and that's not the case. Exercise your patience while sticking on the word of God. Once God says He will bless you start confessing. Where the enemy is fighting us is on mind. Satan testifies to us when things don't work. Yet in the word of God He says He has sent His word to heal all our diseases so learn to read all scriptures to get your breakthrough. God can never do anything on earth unless we give Him a chance. Satan took authority from Adam, the authority that God had given him when he convinced him to eat the forbidden fruit. Eve meditated on what the devil told her. When we hold on to the word of God we believe it, we receive it and then we have it. When we receive in the spiritual it manifests in the physical that's when we have it. Most of us are left believing and that's how we loose our healing. The bigger percentage of the body's roles is done by hands. Many achievements in life is because of hands. God is using spiritual realm to explain the physical. God has inscribed us on His palm. That's why it is wrong to discipline a child using your hands. The bible commands us to use a rod. The hand in the spiritual has many things. Ephesians 6:10, the shield is in the hand to protect so that you are not killed. The sword is to attack and is in the hands, to finish your enemy Picture the word of God as food. You use your hand to put food in the mouth. Joshua 1:8 . The book shall not depart your mouth...the word is chewed and when fully digested moves to heart. When the word of God gets to heart it transforms it. Romans 1:2 . The word moves to the mind where it is renewed. Everything good gotten is through the mind. The word is then pumped into your spirit then back to your hands where you walk with the ready sword to attack the enemy. Faith is not used, it is lived by. The just shall live by faith. We are living by common sense and using faith. Immediately you begin to feel you loose faith. When you put in fear faith escapes. Faith separates facts from truth .we dwell on facts, the facts is what we see. The truth is what we believe. The fact is I am poor but the truth is God will provide... Faith is not faith if it is not talking. You must speak because things are happening in the spiritual realm. Heb 11:6 Nehemiah 8:10 Without faith it is impossible to please God The joy of the lord is my strength How do I receive faith......faith comes by hearing the word of God. Hearing is a continuous tense. Faith has therefore to be heard everyday for us to develop it Where do I develop it...from us, supernatural, other people preaching. If you have never heard from yourself that's where you begin to fail. Hear from yourself 100 percent . When you hear the word of God you begin to speak Faith that comes does not benefit you until it goes. If you don't speak it it will never benefit you. You can have what you say if you stop saying what you have. God bless you and keep you safe

Offering The Sacrifice Hebrews 13:15 by Rev. Violet Wafula

Hebrews 13:15 Offering the sacrifice is what you bring before the Lord. It must be something you value and He must accept it. When we do this, there's something we are getting in return, so that God can meet our needs. Sometimes it's not just to get in turn but it's worth before God. We are to offer ourselves as living sacrifice before God. What is a sacrifice of praise? There's a diffe,fence between offering a sacrifice of praise and praise. We have so much to praise God for that there shud be a spontaneous praise from our mouths. There are things as children of God when we have a right relation with God praise should come automatically through out. Our praise involves thanksgiving, we minister to God in praise for all things. However the sacrifice of praise is different. It is not the praise we offer because everything is right but it's offered to God when we do not even feel to praise. We need to come before God offering sacrifice of praise so that even when things are not working the way we want, we must lift our lips and says haleluhyia because God knows all our needs. Forget about ourselves, concentrate on Him. It's not that we are great or give expressions of our feelings but we are praising God by faith, in obedience for who He is and not what He has done. we praise the Lord despite of what we are going through because it is a requirement. This does not come easily but it's costly though it brings light and God loves to revive the sacrifice of praise, when we do this heaven is moved and we get the breakthrough and we can still receive a miracle . This is a continued sacrifice. David offered sacrifices of praise to God and said I will bless the Lord at all times despite any circumstance. He humbled himself before the lord and He said I sought the Lord and He heard me and delivered me. We go through many fears and it's only when we offer sacrifice of praise that we get breakthrough. It is not cheap, not easy and is not sentimental praise. It must cost you whether in season or out of season, tell your heart despite what am going through, I'll still praise Him. We praise in those times when the Lord give the and take the Way. Job 1:21 Most Christians perish for lack of knowledge. When things happen in our lives, we should not complain but offer sacrifices of praise so that we can overcome the obstacles. There are times we loose jobs, are in wilderness, God always provides miraculously . The things that happen in our lives, we should not take them for granted but it's God performing miracles in our lives so never tire to offer scarification of praise. Sometimes God seem to be far , but His grace is always sufficient and therefore start offering sacrifices and heavens will open and your blessings will come through. You don't know when your blessings will come so always be prepared. Sometimes you have nothing to praise God for but offer it. Do your part to get something from God. Your natural feelings, friends may discourage you and so is your heart. Start offering sacrifices of praise and the lord will come for you. The devil says what do you have to praise God for? If you listen to him you fall into his trap . God still sits on His throne and He hears what you go through. He does not change in any way. He's the same yesterday, today and forever. This is an audible praise, it is the fruit of our lips. Our lips produce sound to the Lord, to proclaim what you want. The sacrifice of praise is something we speak out so that Saran, the people around you, your heart can hear it and so are your ears able to hear what your lips are saying. When everyone is aware of what you say, God hears us. This is the utmost importance and it touches the heart of God. Paul and Silas offered a sacrifice of praise which Acts 16:25 . They had not committed any crime but we're spreading good news. As human beings, there are things that happen to us. If you are doing the right thing, you find yourself where you are not supposed to be. In those circumstances what do we do? Continue offering sacrifice of praise as Paul and Silas God will always make a way in the wilderness. He knows us by name. People of God around the world ar suffering for their testimonies of Jesus Christ but continue to offer the sacrifice of praise. God has given us freedom of worship in kenya, are we making use of it before it's too late. We need to use it to equip ourselves in time of need. Sacrifice of prizes can be done through Jesus Christ. It is only Christ who can make this kind of praise be done, he is glorified and makes God come to meet our needs. Every time a sacrifice of praise is offered, Jesus is glorified. It is giving of thanks to His name. God wants to bring us into a place we can sincerely give thanks always for all things Ephesians 5:20 to the Father.nwhether in difficult situations, we can only do this if we believe in the sovereignty of God and if we know all things work for good of those who love the Lord. Romans 8:28 . Everything that happens to us, the Lord understands. How to offer the sacrifice 1. Decide that you are going to give a sacrifice of praise: things may not be going the way you wished, price God under all circumstances and by faith believe for provision. Provision depends on the kind of faith you have 2. Begin to do it right now. This is applying faith 3. If you find yourself in difficulties, order yourself to praise the Lord. Despite what is happening, offer sacrifice of praise and the loved will come. 4. Begin to do it by faith. Apply faith in everything. Be persistent 5. Having began, continue praising Him and our miracles will come. Let your praises ascend higher and higher and let the spirit of praise overtake you. Living an Exemplary life : continuation with Rev Wafula

Today’s message is a continuation on love on the topic Living an Exemplary life. Paul urged Timothy to be a good example through speech, love, faith, life and purity. Love; when you love there is nothing you cannot do for those you love. Jacob loved Rachel and had to work for seven years to earn her. But he was given Leah instead of Rachel since Leah was the eldest. He had to work for another seven years to get Rachel because he loved her. The love we have between us and God is the covenant love ( an agreement between two people that cannot be broken. There is a seal in this case the blood of Jesus) 1kings 8:23 2chronicles 6:6-14' Nehemiah 1; 32. God keeps His covenant to a thousand generations. There is also covenant love between brethren. Romans 13:8-10 Paul says owes nobody a debt except the debt of love. We owe each other a debt of love. God expects us to love everyone as He loved us. Romans 13. Paul writes and says be an example in life. Live the life that others can see Christ in you because you are a representative of Christ Jesus. Live and speaks that those who don't know God will come to know God because of you. Let your life be a challenge to the rest. We can purpose to live lives to are exemplary so that the world will copy from us and not us copying from the world. As a person what are your values, what can people look at and define your by. Can they say this is a faithful or sincere person? Your values will determine your life. If you say I will be a man of integrity that means what you say and do in private is what you say and do in public. Maintain integrity wherever you are and whatever you do. Philippians 1:20-24,27 . Come what may, we must leave for Christ Paul dies for the values he had in Christ. What values do we have? Are they exalting Jesus Christ? What is your purpose in life, what do you want to fulfill? What is it that can stand out in you to be a testimony in Christ? Many of us live a purposeless life, that's why you find people moving up and down. Many Christians have nothing to achieve. When it is all done and finished, what will you present to God? What do you have that you can present if Jesus came? What shall we lack from you when you are gone? Someone says the greatest tragedy is life without a purpose. You live for 20 years and gone, we try to trace what you did other than your family and you. God has a purpose for each one of us. God told Jeremiah I chose you while in your mother’s womb and have a pointed you be a prophet die.

Acts 26:19 Paul says he received a vision from heaven and given his purpose in life. What are you living for? Your life must be challenging to others...........Romans 9:11' Philippians 2:2. God bless

Importance of Fellowship

Sunday August 2 2015 Apostle Malambo 1Cor 9:24

You know that many runners enter the race, and only one of them wins the prize. So run to win! Fellowship is important for our spiritual growth. The first church grew in number because of fellowship. You must have a strategy to achieve something. Change begins from me, when I change I can change everything around me. Paul says salvation is a race. In a race you run, in this life for you to win a race you must learn how to fight because there are things to fight foundations of your traditions for your mind to be transformed. A kingdom that transforms people, can achieve anything. Kenya celebrated its jubilee, jubilee means freedom, cancellation of debts etc. If you are not transformed, your debt can be cancelled but comes back. When you are sick, you can be healed but sickness comes back because you are not transformed. It is transformation that sustains your healing. Paul, the liar was changed to be the gospel carrier; it is the power of God that leads to salvation for those who believe \ There must be a transformation in you for you to be increased. You have to grow your business because God blesses the works of your hands. Salvation is a journey that you must fight against principalities. We can't go to the third heaven where God is until we overcome the first and second against the forces of gravity. The force of gravity must salute you for you to reach the third heaven if you want to make it to heaven, overcome the force of gravity and owe the devil nothing. Then you must get clearance from the second heaven then God will say welcome good and faithful servant. If you are not spiritual, the force of gravity will arrest you. There are certain things you must fight. Many people succeed by dubious means The moment your obedience to God’s word grows, God gives you honour, recognition and favor. People begin to serve you, sow in your life because they honor who you are. This happens because of obedience. Salvation is a race, a fight that you must fight on. God bless you as you keep the fight.

Rev. Owen Wafula Sunday 23 August 2015 1 Timothy 4:11-12 Living a Christian exemplary life Teach these things and tell everyone to do what you say. Dont let anyone make fun of you, just because you are young. Set an example for other followers by what you say and do, as well as by your love, faith and purity. The world knows Christians are to set standards for the world, patterns for the world to follow but most times Christians learn from the world, coping things from the world so that the world wonders if the church is taking what we have, what's the point of us going to church. In this case, the world has no business in coming to us. God in His plan calls us the light, salt of the world. The world should look upon us to find life but if it doesn't see what it wants, it will be difficult to convince the world. We copy so much in the world. A lot of characters from the world are found in church, the way we dress, talk, do things around us is like the world. The world knows what we are to do so that when we do what we are not supposed to do they will tell us. Paul tells Timothy to teach those things to ensure everybody understands. It's not about what you are, what matters is you are you a child of God, teach these things and leave and be an example to believers .And if you say you are saved, let it be so. And set a pattern for people to follow. One preacher said preach the gospel, if necessary use words. What he means is preach the gospel with your life, a life that is convicting and enlightenment to other people. If time comes when you are face to face with someone, use words otherwise preach with your life. Don't worry about your age, be an example. You are an Ambasaduer of Christ. As an ambassador you have strict instructions. The ambassador of America has been told what to do in Kenya, he knows what he's to do from his government. If he doesn't do what his sending government has sent him to do, he's recalled back and they send someone else . He is not concerned what the politicians talk about. You are an ambassador of the kingdom, do what heaven has sent you do. 1 Timothy 4:12b As Paul speaks to Timothy, he speaks to us. How can we set good patterns for fellow Christians or the world to follow? We are supposed to set examples and not to copy from the world. Preachers are copying things from films. People who act in films as actors, have an objective. At the end of it, they have several awards. They do things in a funny way to entertain people, the way he dresses, talks, words he uses, how he carries himself is to amuse people and they achieve their goals. Now as a preacher, what is my aim, do I come to entertain you, NO! As a representative of God, I want to minister to you the word from God as per your situation. The word will open your eyes for the direction to take. God needs to use me to liftt your spirit. If I come and talk like an actor, will I achieve my goal? You may go out entertained but as soon as you are out, you've forgotten about my actions, your worry comes back. The problem of knowing what to do is still there so I have not fulfilled my mandate as a representative of Jesus. We are not to imitate people but behave in a way that will fulfill our objectives. Paul tells Timothy to be an example in : 1. SPEECH: sometimes our speech cannot be differentiated from the people of the world, how can we convince them to come to church. There must be a difference in our words, phrases. Watch what you says because people know what you are supposed to say. Live as an example to that area. Proverbs 15:1,2,4. ; as a believer know how to respond to another person. Some of us speak very hard words to others which may be offending When you use good words to others, God sees you as a tree of life but when you crash someone's spirit, you are like you've killed his spirit. Proverbs 17:27 a man of wisdoms uses wisely his words on others. Restrain yourself from speaking certain words. James 3:1-12 Some words break people's spirit. That's why Paul tells Timothy not to just speak out words but be a good example to the rest of believers. This needs to be emulated . In the multitude of words, sin dwells in. If you can tame your you hue and control it, you are able to put your whole body in check. It is a lot of work and unless you surrender to Jesus that The Holy Spirit takes control, it's impossible. The tongue is fire that can light up your whole body. God bless you all

Emotional Prosperity

Bible Study Wednesday 10th June 2015 By Kevin Sitati 3rd John:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers”. There are four types of growth 1. Physical growth : This consists of what we take in , in terms of food. It has a high concentration of upto 70% 2. Mental growth: Consists of being educated. It amounts to upto 20 percent concentration 3. Spiritual growth: Consists of spiritual nourishment. This only has a 9 percent concentration 4. Emotional growth: Dealing with our emotion. This has been given 1 percentage concentration. How much time we give to our emotional time determines how stable we are both at our family levels and public. Other parts of growth are dependent of emotional growth. When parents are emotional unstable, it affects emotional prosperity as well as social stability and this greatly impacts negatively on the family A saying goes “Always hope for the best but prepare for the best” Is this Biblical?? Well it may not be but is very relevant to our day today lives. We always prepare God to give us the best and it is in His prerogative to do as He wishes. If the worst strike, there is need to be prepared. Some Christians however hope for the best and prepare for the best. We always need to be prepared, this is where the emotional preparedness strikes. This is why the Bible says “Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers”.

Life confronts death and life prevails

Sunday service 18th May 2015 Jesus will change your life forever- Rev Owen Wafula

Luke 7:11-17 In the hospital there are two places: one is the mortuary and the other is the labor ward. In the labor ward there is joy, screaming, crying and celebration because life is being made. On the other hand in the mortuary there is silence, people there don’t care, have no feeling even if you give them nyama choma, and they don’t care. It’s only the mortuary attendants tossing the bodies around. Before Jesus went to Nain, he had healed a man in Capernaum and they people were rejoicing while on the other side in Nain, people were sad because a widow had lost her son. Jesus felt pain, sorrow when he saw the tears of the woman. And he spoke to the woman and said “don’t cry. Many of us maybe passing through many things that make us feel lonely but I say don’t cry. They say when men cry their tears fall into the stomach. However there are situations you don’t have to be a man. Women cry to express their emotions.. Each one of us has issues that can make us cry. Jesus says don’t cry. I visualize Jesus walking to the woman and telling her doesn’t cry. He went to the poll bearers and they stopped and he went to the dead woman’s son and spoke to him and said “Young Man Wake Up!”. Life and death confronted the young man but death disappeared. The man woke up!. What is causing your tears to come out? Rejection, mourning, do you feel lonely, nobody cares: Listen to me Jesus has come!. The purpose of Jesus going to Nain was not to raise the young man but to meet the need of the widow. What was her need? The young man had died , maybe the husband had dies not long ago and she thought her son would take care of her. She had put her hope in her son but had now gone. She had lost hope. If you told her God is good, she would ask good for what. Jesus wanted to affirm the goodness of the Lord. The object of God’s love , what attracted the compassion of Christ wasn’t the crowd, son but the widow. Today you are afflicted, paining, you are the centre of attraction of God’s love. He is passing because of you. You are the interest of Christ. He wants to see you happy John 10:10b I came that you might have life and have it abundantly. The word might is an option. You can choose to have it or not. As you sit here, Christ is looking on you. He wants you to prosper, become victor but not victim, head and not tail, that is his interest. If you are going to remain mourning, that’s a choice you make. When life meets death, death disaapears. Death brings sorrow, pain. Jesus changed sorrow to joy, pain- healing, useless –useful. You can change your status today. In verse 17 of chapter 7 the people started worshipping after the miracle. They knew they were in a place that God was working. My brother you are in a place where God is working, a place of miracle. You can receive yours today. When light meets darkness, darkness disappears and so is life and death because Jesus is the author of life. You may have hoped for something but at some point, it may have died. I want to tell you when you meet Jesus; he brings it back to life. And there will be celebration. Let me conclude by saying when Jesus comes into your life he will change it forever. You are the business of God today. Allow him to take charge!!
